When I began to select jewels to include in this edition of the event, what was revealed to me were, truly speaking, sculptures: sculptures in diamond, in the most noble forms of metal, which enhanced the value of Brazilian stones and were enhanced themselves by materials representing what is most diverse and unique in our country. Hence the name Jóia Brasil, now an official event of Fashio Rio.
I also meant to offer an overview of contemporary national jewelry, ranging from great jewelers to the most sophisticated and innovative artisans. I hope you appreciate, like I do, this diversity and richness of talents.
