The Fifth international edition of the exhibition " Jóia Brasil" occurred during the first Brazilian Film Festival in Los Angeles. The festival was from March 7th to 9th, 2008, at the Landmark Theater, Brentwood , West Los Angeles.

The program began March 6, with the Brazil Foundation Charity Cocktail of Leona Forman.
March 7th - Red carpet with Opening cocktail for 500 invited VIPs and world premiere of the movie " Bellini and the Devil".
March 8th - Movie Exhibitions
March 9th- Awards Ceremony

The " Jóia Brasil" exhibition took place at the theater's lounge and each designer donated a jewelry for the award in the following categories: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Writing.

The exhibition had great outcome internationally for the Brazilian jewelry designers, since about 10.000 people viewed it. The following designer were part of the event: Bia Vasconcellos, Francisca Bastos, Vanessa Robert, Mônica Ponde, Laura Neves, Izabel Andrade Ramos, Deborah Bressan and special participation of Kamille Bernard.

Invited Artists: Fábio Assunção, MV Bill, Du Moscovis, Alice Braga, Rodrigo Santoro, Camila Alves, Reynaldo Gianechini, Sonia Braga, Gisele Bunchen, Sergio Mendes , Carolina Ferraz, among others.
