In his ninth international edition, Joia Brasil exhibited at 4th Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival directed by Nazareno Paulo and Meire Fernandes, at Landmark Theater - Westside Pavilion in Westwood. The event was attended by Rodrigo Santoro, Murilo Rosa, Daniela Escobar, Babi Xavier, Maria Gadu and other personalities from the movie industry. The Joia Brasil awarded the winners of two categories, reinforcing the presence of Brazilian jewelry design abroad.

Joia Brasil also exhibited in two Galleries, Roseark in West Hollywood and Bella Rosa Gallery in the State Street, Santa Barbara. The last one, with the partnership of the curator Maurice Moreno.
